SMILE Center Summer Schedule
SMILE Center will begin our SUMMER ACTIVITIES each Tuesday and Wednesday, beginning June 5 & 6 and run through August 1st.
Tuesdays – Toddlers through elementary ages sign up for choice of 9:00AM-10:30AM or 10:00AM-11:30 (10-10:30 group music class)
Wednesdays – Middle school through adults sign up for choice of 9:00AM-10:30AM or 10:00AM-11:30AM (10-10:30 group exercise class)
Each day will be filled with fun activities including crafts, games, singing, dancing and an exercise class at 10AM!
These activities are provided FREE to our SMILE families, thanks to our community sponsors and fundraisers! It will be most helpful for you to sign up and attend consistently. Our summer volunteers are excited to participate and love working with our kids! It’s a win-win for everyone!

My name is Jonathan M. Mussett and I am a doctoral student at St. Mary’s University here in San Antonio, Texas, USA. As a part of my doctoral dissertation, I am requesting your part…icipation in a research project entitled Spiritual Appraisals, Spiritual Struggles, and Growth in Parents of Children with Down Syndrome: A Double ABCX Hierarchical Regression Analysis.
The purpose of this research is to better understand whether and how parents of children with Down syndrome utilize various religious and spiritual resources to cope and grow. The entire survey will take approximately 45 minutes to 90 minutes to complete.
Your participation is strictly voluntary and you can quit at any time and with no penalty. Also all of your responses will be kept completely confidential.

The tournament will be at Victoria National Golf Club from June 25-July 1, 2012. The PGA TOUR prides itself on giving back to the communities in which its events are held. The United Leasing Championship will continue this tradition by giving the proceeds of its ticket sales back to local charities that help promote the tournament. Beginning May1-June 24, 2012, SMILE on Down Syndrome will have the opportunity to raise money through the innovative Golf Gives Back program.
